The Prime Barrel Picks

The Prime Barrel has quickly become my number one source for single barrel and private selections that I can't get anywhere else. This private release from BCS is in my top 3 right now and contender for whiskey of the year for me.

I've ordered five different barrel picks from Prime Barrel and each have been fantastic. The customer service is phenomenal and the our group is the best.

Rich dark color with a fantastic mouth feel. I get toasted oak and caramel on the nose with some cinnamon. After it opens up a while I also get some cherry cola. The palate is very rich with allot of toasted oak along with cherries, maple syrup and baking spices. The finish is long with pepper spice, but the sweetness of the maple syrup coats the tongue and remains all the way through. All the flavors in this bourbon are so rich and concentrated. The Prime Barrel is the first barrel selection club I’ve found worthwhile.
