A Barrel Worth the Name
Say hello to Old Forester “Toad-ally Awesome,” a Single Barrel Barrel Strength expression blazing its trail. Unlike many Old Forester single barrels we’ve encountered, this one breaks the mold. At 132.4 proof, it delivers intense flavor without overwhelming heat—a rarity that will impress even the most discerning bourbon lover.
Crafted to Perfection
Hailing from Warehouse L, Floor 4, this exceptional barrel (#9071) exhibits uncharacteristic balance and richness. It’s proof that bold doesn’t have to mean fiery. Expect a luscious, velvety texture with deep, layered flavors that leave you craving more.
The Story Behind the Name
The name comes with a playful twist. Inspired by Mario-themed stickers on our sample bottles, the winning barrel was marked with a Toad sticker—courtesy of our daughter’s creativity. The name stuck, just like the unforgettable flavor of this bourbon.
Why It’s Special
This isn’t your typical Old Forester. It's bold yet smooth, powerful yet approachable. Whether you’re adding to your collection or looking for a standout pour, this one’s a must-have.
