Last updated: August 6, 2026
The Prime Barrel, LLC, doing business as Prime Barrel (“Prime Barrel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates primebarrel.com and related stores, pages, accounts, memberships, communications, products, events, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and otherwise process personal information. It also describes privacy choices and rights that may be available to you. Where consent is legally required for a particular activity, we will request it separately.
1. Personal Information We Process
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
-
Contact and identifying information: name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, account identifiers, IP address, and device identifiers.
-
Order and payment information: products, transaction amount, payment method, authorization and payment status, taxes, shipping, delivery, returns, refunds, disputes, and related records. Full payment-card data is generally processed by Shopify or another payment provider; we typically receive limited payment details and transaction confirmation.
-
Account and security information: username, encrypted password, preferences, saved products, authentication records, login history, and fraud or security indicators.
-
Commercial and preference information: browsing history within the Services, cart contents, purchases, wish lists, membership tier, product interests, reviews, promotions used, returns, and customer-service history.
-
Age and identity-verification information: date of birth, verification results, adult-signature status, delivery eligibility, and information necessary to confirm that a purchaser or recipient may lawfully purchase or receive alcohol. A carrier or verification provider may inspect or process a government-issued identification document. We do not intentionally retain a copy of an identification document unless reasonably necessary, requested through an approved channel, permitted by law, and subject to appropriate controls.
-
Membership and digital-asset information: membership tier, benefit use, wallet address, Token ownership or validation status, public blockchain transactions, and related account connections.
-
Communications and content: customer-service messages, inquiries, survey responses, photographs, reviews, event submissions, and other content you provide.
-
Device, network, and activity information: browser, device and operating-system type, network connection, IP-derived approximate location, referring pages, pages viewed, links selected, session activity, and timestamps.
-
Cookie, analytics, and advertising information: cookie and pixel identifiers, advertising identifiers, attribution data, interaction with ads or communications, and inferences about likely interests or preferences.
Certain information may be treated as sensitive under applicable law, including account credentials, payment information, precise identity-document information, and certain geolocation data. We use sensitive information only for reasonably necessary purposes such as providing requested Services, processing payments, verifying age or identity, securing accounts, preventing fraud, and complying with law. We do not use sensitive information to infer unrelated characteristics except as permitted by law.
2. Sources of Personal Information
We may collect personal information:
-
directly from you;
-
automatically from your browser, device, cookies, and similar technologies;
-
from Shopify, payment processors, verification providers, carriers, fulfillment providers, fraud-prevention vendors, customer-support tools, and other service providers;
-
from advertising, analytics, social-media, membership, event, and business partners;
-
from public sources, including public blockchain records; and
-
from another person, such as someone who purchases a gift or provides your information for an authorized delivery.
If you provide another person’s information, you represent that you are authorized to do so and will provide any notice or obtain any consent required by law.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
-
operate, provide, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services;
-
create and administer accounts, Memberships, benefits, events, and communities;
-
verify identity, age, eligibility, wallet ownership, Membership status, and delivery authorization;

-
communicate about orders, accounts, Memberships, security, policy changes, and other service matters;
-
remember preferences and provide recommendations;
-
send and measure marketing where permitted by law;
-
provide, personalize, attribute, and measure advertising;
-
detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to fraud, security incidents, illegal activity, unsafe conduct, or violations of our terms;
-
protect customers, personnel, the public, rights, property, and the Services;
-
comply with alcohol licensing, tax, accounting, recordkeeping, sanctions, consumer-protection, and legal obligations;
-
establish, exercise, investigate, or defend legal claims; and
-
evaluate or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies for store operation, authentication, carts, fraud prevention, analytics, personalization, marketing, and advertising.
Some technologies are necessary for the Services to function. Others may be controlled through the cookie or privacy settings displayed on the Services and through browser settings. Blocking technologies may affect functionality. Where required, we obtain consent before using non-essential technologies.
For information about Shopify’s processing and controls, review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify Privacy Portal.
5. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to:
-
Shopify and other hosting, ecommerce, technology, cloud, security, and support providers;
-
payment processors and financial-service providers;
-
age, identity, fraud, sanctions, and eligibility-verification providers;
-
warehouses, fulfillment providers, carriers, customs brokers, and delivery providers;
-
customer-support, communications, event, analytics, and professional-service providers;
-
advertising, marketing, attribution, and social-media partners;
-
wallet, blockchain, Token, and Membership technology providers;
-
affiliates and corporate-group members, if any;
-
government authorities, regulators, courts, law enforcement, and other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect safety or rights, investigate misconduct, or enforce agreements;
-
actual or prospective parties and advisers involved in a financing, merger, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, or sale; and
-
other parties at your direction or with your consent.
We take reasonable steps designed to require providers processing personal information on our behalf to protect it and use it for authorized purposes, subject to applicable law and the nature of the service.
6. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. Certain advertising, analytics, social-media, or cookie disclosures may nevertheless be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or use for “targeted advertising” under some state privacy laws.
The categories that may be involved include identifiers and device information, internet or electronic activity, commercial information, approximate location, and inferences about interests. Recipients may include advertising, social-media, analytics, and attribution partners. These disclosures are made for advertising, campaign measurement, attribution, analytics, and related purposes.
You may opt out through our Your Privacy Choices page. Where legally required, we also process recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for the browser or device sending the signal. If the signal can lawfully and reasonably be associated with an account, we may apply it to the account as required.
We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 18 or knowingly use it for targeted advertising.
7. Membership Benefits and Financial Incentives
Memberships may provide access, discounts, promotions, products, or experiences. These benefits are based on Membership status and the applicable Membership terms—not on an agreement to sell personal information.
If we offer a program that qualifies as a financial incentive or price or service difference in exchange for personal information under applicable privacy law, we will provide a separate notice describing the material terms, value calculation, opt-in method, and withdrawal right before enrollment.
8. Shopify and Other Platforms
Shopify hosts our online store and processes personal information to provide, secure, and improve its platform. Depending on the activity, Shopify may act as our service provider or as a separate business responsible for its own processing. Information may be processed in countries other than your own. Shopify explains its practices through its privacy notices and portal linked above.
Wallet, blockchain, marketplace, delivery, payment, and Membership platforms may process information under their own privacy policies. Public blockchain records are maintained by decentralized networks, are visible to others, and generally cannot be altered or deleted by Prime Barrel. Privacy requests to us do not enable us to change records outside our control.
9. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, taking into account:
-
the duration of an account, Membership, transaction, or customer relationship;
-
alcohol-licensing, age-verification, delivery, tax, accounting, sanctions, and recordkeeping obligations;
-
fraud-prevention, security, dispute, warranty, chargeback, and limitation periods;
-
the sensitivity and volume of the information; and
-
technical, backup, and archival constraints.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, we delete or de-identify it in accordance with applicable law or retain it in a restricted backup or legal-hold system until deletion is reasonably practicable.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Do not send payment-card details, identification documents, passwords, private keys, wallet recovery phrases, or other sensitive information through an unrequested or insecure channel. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
11. Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:
-
confirm whether we process your personal information;
-
access specified personal information;
-
correct inaccurate information;
-
request deletion;
-
obtain a portable copy of information you provided;
-
learn about categories of information, sources, purposes, and recipients;
-
opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling;
-
limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive information;
-
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;

To exercise a right:

call 718-388-9463.
Describe the right and provide enough information for us to identify relevant records. We may verify your identity and authority using information reasonably related to the request. Verification information will be used for request handling, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted. We may request evidence of authority and direct verification from the consumer. If we deny a request and applicable law provides an appeal, email hello@primebarrel.com with the subject Privacy Appeal and explain the basis for reconsideration.
12. Communication Choices
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in the message. You may still receive non-promotional communications concerning orders, accounts, Memberships, security, and legal obligations.
Except for legally recognized opt-out preference signals, the Services may not respond to “Do Not Track” signals because no uniform standard applies.
13. Age Restrictions and Children
The Services and alcohol offerings are intended for people at least 21 years old. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 21 to purchase or receive alcohol.
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that a child provided information contrary to this Policy, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian may contact us using the details below.
14. Third-Party Services
The Services may link to third-party sites, social networks, wallets, carriers, marketplaces, and platforms. We do not control their privacy or security practices. Review their policies before providing information.
Information posted publicly or semi-publicly, including reviews, social-media posts, community messages, and public blockchain data, may be visible and used by others. Do not post information you wish to keep confidential.
15. International Processing
We are based in the United States. Personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States and other countries where providers operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those in your location.
Where international data-protection law applies, we rely on an appropriate legal basis and transfer mechanism as required for the relevant processing. Availability of products or shipping in a location does not itself change the rights and obligations imposed by applicable law.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in practices, technology, Services, or law. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where required. Material changes apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise.
