This 10-Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon, distilled at the historic Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, KY in June 2008, embodies the magic of the early bourbon renaissance. Aged for just over a decade and rested until July 2018, this rare single-barrel release captures the nostalgic “dusty” character beloved by seasoned bourbon enthusiasts.

A Serendipitous Find

During a visit to one of our vendors in Louisville, KY, we tasted this bourbon for the first time. The moment it touched the glass, its aroma transported us—rich, layered, and unmistakably reminiscent of vintage bourbons from decades past.

Tasting Experience 

• Nose: Sweet, fruity cherry cobbler with vanilla, caramel, and cinnamon over fresh-baked pastry crust. A concentrated bouquet that’s impossible to ignore. 
• Palate: Earthy and “dusty” in texture, opening into baked cherry cobbler, brown sugar, caramel, and cinnamon stick. Balanced by warm spice, subtle woodiness, and a peppery undertone.
• Finish: Long, slightly drying, with concentrated oak, roasted pecan, cinnamon, and a gentle hint of pepper.
