Last December, we were privileged to sit down with the Dark Arts team and sample their bourbon and rye catalog. Having tried everything from 10 yr single barrels to port-finished gems to Madeira-finished ryes- the star of the day? A 113.9  proof 7.5 yr straight bourbon finished in white Muscatel. This is the first Dark Arts Muscatel ever, and we’re excited AF to get it out to you.  

What to expect? Liquid Gold - Remember the ZZ Top song “Legs”? It has them for days, a color that belies its years. The nose, mild and sweet, and a medium-length fruity finish begs u to drink more. If you liked my Sagamore peach, this is its bourbon brother.  Dried apricots and honey.  Toffee and citrus.  An absolute delight. - Rob, aka FFR
