Four Gate is a high-end non-distillery producer based in Kentucky. It specializes in limited-release blends that usually start with excellent base whiskey and unique finishes. Seven Prime Barrel members selected this private barrel selection on our trip to Kentucky in March of 2024. It began as 8-year-old bourbon with a recognizable mashbill of 75% corn, 20% rye, and 5% malted barley (if you know, you know). It was then finished in a Kelvin toasted oak barrel.
