New Riff Distilling "One of One" 9 Year Single Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey The Prime Barrel Pick

In 2022, Eastern Kentucky was hit by tornadoes and floods. The inclement weather was responsible for the rising death toll and hundreds of people missing, making rescue and recovery efforts tedious. Fortunately, our signature industry is known for stepping up in times of crisis. Kentucky distillers, private collectors, and out-of-state brands have come together again to donate exclusive private barrel experiences, rare and vintage spirits, one-of-a-kind bottles, and unique tasting and tourism offerings through a charity bourbon auction. All proceeds went directly to the State’s Official Team Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief Fund. As a club, we wanted to donate to the efforts. We decided to bid and were fortunate to win a couple of one-in-a-lifetime barrel-picking experiences, of which this was one.

New Riff cracked open the warehouse and pulled out a barrel from their Batch No. 1 of New Riff Bourbon Whiskey, distilled back in June 2014.  In July of 2023, our Tier 1+ members joined us for a Premium Experience, which included selecting this one-of-one 9-year-old barrel.
